The PUNT, PASS & KICK contest is a skills competition for boys and girls between the ages of 6 -15 to compete separately against their peers. The competition is open for all youth to participate in no matter their skill level. The event is part of the North Carolina 7 on 7 State Championship festivities this summer in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
Girls and boys in five separate age divisions (6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14-15) compete against each other in punting, passing and place kicking in a fun and engaging forum. As the day progresses, it will become more competitive ultimately crowning a winner in each division. “We want youth of all ages to be exposed to the lessons and life skills involved with the game of football, says Carolina Elite Football Founder, Bob Winstead.
The Punt, Pass, and Kick competition is free for participants. Registration is open now and will be so through July 10th, or until each division is full.
With more than three million boys and girls from around the country taking part in the Punt, Pass, and kick competition every year, it is one of the world’s largest youth sports participation programs. Winstead is in discussions with the NFL in regards to this competition being a qualifier for the finals that will be held at an NFL play off game later in the season.
